Trump pushes for GOP unity on Obamacare replacement in Twitter video

President Trump took to Twitter Thursday in a final push to get Republicans to support his Obamacare replacement plan. In a video, he asked voters to push their members of Congress to support the bill.

The tweet and video comes at a time when Republicans are split over whether to support the bill. Some call it "Obamacare Lite," while others say it leaves too many people without insurance or with higher rates and costs.

The Freedom Caucus leads a group of conservative Republicans opposed to the new plan. They are pushing for a plan with more free market support. Supporters of President Trump's plan say the Obamacare replacement bill is a necessary first step. They argue dismantling Obamacare will require some steps Republicans do not want to support, but are necessary as a new system is built.

Earlier today, President Trump invited members of the Freedom Caucus to the White House. While the meeting was described as constructive, the two sides seem far apart. Senator Mike Lee says he does not expect the measure to pass, if there is a vote at all.

Here is the tweet from President Trump, with his video appeal.

The Tennessee GOP Twitter trolled Hillary Clinton HARD during Trump's speech

That's gonna leave a mark. The Tennessee Republican Party's Twitter account was in fine form Tuesday night, as they took aim at the failed presidential candidate. Warning: Smackdown Tweet Ahead!

Does Donald Trump have fake Latinos tweeting support for him?

Donald Trump has long maintained that Latinos love him. He uses anecdotal polls to support this, but evidence has emerged that he may be employing more devious methods to make it appear as if he's "Vato Donald" to the Latino community.

Forbes.com reports on what Twitter user Niraj Warikoo discovered after the Houston GOP debate:
Right after midnight, a number of Twitter accounts associated with traditionally Latino names sent an identical tweet within minutes of each other. It read: “Trump won around 40% of the latino vote in Nevada, but that accounts for about 1,300 votes. Still more than the two hispanics on the ballot.”
Twitter user Niraj Warikoo— Twitter handle @nwarikoo—surfaced the interesting anomaly on the platform along with screenshots of the tweets:

Trump's campaign denied any involvement with the tweets, but it seems a coordinated effort to boost Trump after a disastrous debate was at play. In addition, after the Twitter accounts were exposed as possible fakes, several were shut down, and still others sent out an identical tweet at the same time on Friday, stating "F*** what other people think."

Warikoo pointed out that the copied tweet is identical to one sent out by a Univision journalist. That would be ironic, if in fact a Trump operative is using a quote from a news organization of which Trump has said he doesn't believe "anything they say."

"Abuela Hillary Clinton" is back - tweeting in Spanish!

In the days leading up to the Nevada caucuses, Hillary Clinton resorted to her old ways. Not deleting emails or whipping up a Southern accent, mind you, but the former Secretary of State is back to channeling her inner elderly Latina.

Too late to delete! Hillary Clinton's tweet is accidentally obscene (NSFW)

Note: Some may find the following material inappropriate for work or offensive.

Hillary Clinton must have the worst political luck ever. She can’t even retweet without raising eyebrows.

Artist Ian Padgham noticed something in one of Hillary Clinton’s recent retweets, and tweeted a screenshot of it. This is not Photoshop – this is how Twitter abbreviated the title of an NBC News puff piece about the Clinton campaign. The cutoff did depend on the size of the screen on the device you are using, but for many, it was a naughty but funny slip-up, made even better by Hillary’s “Guilty as charged” proclamation. Check it out:

Something tells us Bill doesn't find any of this funny.

Conservatives furious over Ann Coulter's anti-Semitic, anti-Israel tweets

With a handful of tweets Wednesday night, Ann Coulter may have single-handedly kicked herself out of the conservative movement. The author and commentator raised the ire of many, and is being accused of anti-Semitism, after criticizing several Republican candidates during the Presidential debate for their support of Israel.

Coulter took to Twitter Wednesday night (September 16) as the top 11 candidates for the Republican Presidential nomination participated in the CNN Presidential Debate at the Ronald Reagan Library.

Live-tweeting as the debate unfolded, Coulter managed to unload criticism on every candidate throughout the night, except for Donald Trump, whom she has supported in recent weeks.

Coulter initially seemed annoyed when several candidates mentioned their support of Israel should they become President, tweeting this:

Coulter then made her feelings on Israel (and Jews) clear with her next tweet:

Coulter’s ranting tweets caught many by surprise, with some wondering if she had been hacked. However, Coulter doubled down in later tweets, complaining that the candidates were pandering to Israel, Jews, and Evangelicals. When someone called her tweet about Jews offensive, she joked that she had much more offensive ones. She defended her comments to a number of Twitter users who called the tweet offensive.

Her tweet also unleashed several anti-Semitic responses in support of her anti-Israel stance, including one tweet that included a drawing of someone wearing a Star of David defecating into Uncle Sam’s mouth, which is too graphic to include here.

Coulter also complained that the Republicans were pandering to the pro-life crowd, accused the candidates (except Trump) of wanting to bring terrorists to America as refugees, made fun of Chris Christie’s weight and Rand Paul’s hair, and called Carly Fiorina “annoying.” Only Trump escaped her vitriol.

Kim Kardashian marks Veteran's Day by tweeting her bare butt

It would seem the narcissism of Kim Kardashian knows no bounds. The woman famous for being famous (and a few X-rated activities) marked Veteran’s Day a little different than most Americans. While many of us took to social media to thank friends, family, and complete strangers for their military service and sacrifice, the completely oblivious Mrs. Kanye West shared a photo of her bare butt and asked fans to “break the internet” with it.

Kardashian didn’t acknowledge Veteran’s Day on Tuesday at all, but did find the time to promote a new pictorial and article about her in Paper Magazine. As part of that promotion, she tweeted a link to a picture from the pictorial showing her heavily-oiled bare butt with the hashtag #breaktheinternet. She also tweeted about one of the other pictures in the pictorial (in which she balanced a champagne glass on her butt) by saying “and they say I didn’t have a talent...LOL.” The pictorial in Paper Magazine also features Kardashian, who has a one-year-old daughter, posing fully nude.

Check out MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry's "apology" tweets to Mitt Romney

Melissa Harris-Perry of MSNBC isn't exactly a beacon of journalistic impartiality (the fact that she's an MSNBC host should make that obvious), but even she reached Martin Bashir-like depths when she posted a picture of Mitt Romney's family during her December 29 show and proceeded (with her panelists) to ridicule his black adopted grandchild, who was sitting on the governor's lap. Even the UK's The Guardian was taken aback at the pompous insensitivity, which included singing "One of these things is not like the others" and remarks about black Republicans.

The outrage was immediate, but Harris-Perry's eventual apology was not. It took two days, but she did finally issue an apology - by Twitter. In true liberal fashion, however, she made sure not to let a professional crisis go to waste, as she attached a promotional hashtag - #MHPApology - to each of the five tweets that made up the apology. I suppose she thought the world was waiting with bated breath to hear her response, and she expected it to trend on Twitter (spoiler - it didn't). She also admits that she too, like the Romney baby, was a black child born into a white Mormon family, which makes her treatment of the Romneys that much more hypocritical and unbelievable. She also uses the term "transracial" instead of biracial, which sounds like an odd spin on transgendered. Check out the tweets after the break.

Modern Family star issues obscene tweet to Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson

Why does it always come back to the anus? Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who is gay, jumped into the Duck Dynasty debate when he tweeted an insult to Phil Robertson on December 19. Robertson, in case you've been under a rock, was suspended by A&E from his television show when he dared to quote the Bible and say homosexuality is a sin. He also wondered why anyone would choose a man's anus over a woman's vagina. That didn't seem to sit well with Ferguson, who tweeted thusly:

Oy vey. So much for tolerance for others or opinion equality.

December 7, 1941: A day which will live in...hey look! Obamacare!

OK, I'm seriously beginning to think President Obama is trolling America now. There is no way the Leader of the Free World is this clueless.

His latest bit involves Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, which the President managed to forget mentioning on Twitter. He did, however, remember to tweet about Obamacare on the same day. Twice. Not even the official White House Twitter account mentioned it. They did, however, send out over a dozen tweets when Nelson Mandela died this week.

Obama's tribute to Mandela is all about himself

It seems every time America marks a solemn occasion, President Obama can't help making it all about himself. He repeatedly injects himself into the event, so instead of focusing on the passing of an American legend, for example, we focus on Obama contemplating the person instead. Narcissism can be sad when it is so blatant.

The photo above, courtesy of PJMedia.com, shows some of the President's recent tributes, which seem more like tributes to himself. It includes his recent tip of the hat to the passing of Nelson Mandela, in which Mandela is nowhere to be found. Michael Moore REALLY hates American soldiers

Michael Moore took to Twitter on Veterans Day to slam those honoring our nation's soldiers. He also took a classless swipe at suicide in the military. To read his tweets (caution: they are nauseating) click right here to read our full report at Examiner.com.

Actress Molly Ringwald wants Wendy Davis as Governor of...Houston?

She used to be America's Sweetheart, but now she's proof the brain suffers severe trauma after too many years in Hollywood.

Actress Molly Ringwald decided the Texas Governor's race was missing something: her endorsement of Wendy "Abortion Barbie" Davis. She took the time to tweet on Thursday (Halloween, no less) "Support this woman. The next governor of Houston, Texas. #wendydavis #weneedwomenlikethese."

Her tweet instantly gained ridicule, with many asking exactly when Houston became a state. Others asked if she knows the difference between a mayor and a governor. She also appears to think Houston is the state capitol - wrong again, Molls - it's Austin. Personally, if politics gets her this confused, I wonder if she really knows that abortion ends a human life. I kinda doubt Wendy will fill her in.

Ringwald eventually deleted the tweet, blaming the mistake on jetlag. Yeah, flying makes us really stupid too. To read more about her tweet and the reaction to it, click here to read the full story at LifeNews.com.

Adam Levine, typical Hollywood leftist

When Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine was caught live on the air saying "I hate this country," it wasn't his first dig at anything resembling mainstream America. In fact, Levine is a liberal and an Obama supporter, who likes insulting conservatives. To read more about his behavior, click right here to read my column at Examiner.com.

The Daily Show's Lizz Winstead jokes about Oklahoma tornadoes

Lizz Winstead (left), the co-creator of The Daily Show, doesn't let something like a tragedy get in the way of taking a potshot at Republicans. After the recent Oklahoma tornadoes killed a number of people, Winstead joked that because it happened in Oklahoma, it obviously was going after conservatives. She later complained when tornado coverage bumped her from an appearance on MSNBC.

As you might expect, the outrage was overwhelming, and she eventually had to apologize. You can read all about her tweets, the response, and her attempt at an apology by clicking here to read the full column at Examiner.com.

Did Netflix call Sarah Palin a Nazi?

We've all read stories about some idiot who said something they shouldn't have on social media, and it came back to haunt them. Now, we can add Netflix to that list of idiots.

After some liberals tried to start a hashtag trend on Twitter called #SarahPalinFilms, Netflix jumped in by tweeting a reference to a movie about Nazis with the Palin hashtag. As you might expect, things got a little crazy after that. To read all the details, click right here to get the full story from Examiner.com.

Obama follows the freaks on Twitter

President Barack Obama doesn't follow Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan on Twitter, but he does follow a number of weirdos and perverts. And Hugh Jackman. Not that we think Jackman is a pervert, but it is odd that Obama follows him. To find out more about what in the world is up with his Twitter account, click the following link:

Samuel L. Jackson's Twitter war on Stacey Dash

Samuel L. Jackson can't stand anyone even thinking about being a Republican, especially an African American. That's why he took to Twitter to attack actress Stacey Dash for voicing her support for Mitt Romney. What a guy.

Liberals attack Chuck's Zachary Levi

Tell me if you have heard this before: liberals who claim to be tolerant and open-minded attack those with Christian beliefs. In the most recent instance, the target was Zachary Levi, the star of the NBC show Chuck. The ideological war is being waged, of all places, on Twitter.
Levi came under attack on April 29, 2012, when he responded to a fan's observation that, even as a Christian, he cursed quite a bit. Levi is an active Twitter user, but rarely talks about his faith. He described his spiritual outlook in a tweet by quoting St. Francis of Assisi: "Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words." He also tweeted "truth always points to Christ. You don't have to be an evangelist to preach. Just honest. That's what I strive to be."

This revelation, of sorts, caused an uproar among some of his liberal Twitter followers, who took offense that one of their Hollywood darlings would dare to believe in Jesus. One follower, whose Twitter account identified him as an "atheist, skeptic, and liberal free thinker," got his hemp undershorts in a bunch over it, causing him to send the following tweet: "@ZacharyLevi unfollowed. Expected better from you." Several others also followed suit.

Never mind the irony that a man who calls himself a "free thinker" would gather up his toys and leave the philosophical sandbox when someone else speaks their mind. This individual employed the usual liberal tactic of marginalization and intimidation, rather than show some mutual respect for another's beliefs. Once again, the left attempted to quash expressions of faith in the public arena.
Levi, for his part, took the intolerance in stride. He responded to the liberal bigot who said he "expected better" by tweeting back "So did my high school guidance counselor. Welcome to the club." Ultimately, however, it was Levi who had the last laugh. Hundreds of Twitter users came to his defense, and his former Chuck co-star, Adam Baldwin, took up his cause.

Baldwin, himself a Christian and an outspoken conservative, tweeted about the online diss and intolerance Levi was receiving. He retweeted the original liberal protestor's tweet with the words "Anti-Christian bigotry!" and sent it to his nearly 100,000 followers.

Baldwin also tweeted words of support to Levi directly, quoting II Corinthians 5:7: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." As a result of the Baldwin tweets, Levi ended up with hundreds more followers than he lost.

Even though Chuck is now off the air, the situation proved that Zachary Levi still has a large "Nerd Herd" looking out for him and his faith.
