Texas preschool fires Muslim teacher who joked about killing Jews

A Muslim preschool teacher in Texas has spent years tweeting about killing Jews. Her employers finally noticed.

Nancy Salem isn't shy about her Muslim faith, nor is she shy about her feelings towards Israel and the Jewish people. Salem's activities are documented by Canary Mission, a group committed to exposing hatred of the U.S.A., Israel, and the Jewish people. From their website:
Nancy Salem has spread violent hatred of Jews and demonization of Israel on social media.

Salem is an activist with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of Texas, Arlington (UT Arlington).

Salem is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Salem is also connected to other social media users, based primarily in Texas, whose feeds are replete with anti-Jewish posts. These connections are detailed at the bottom of this profile.

Salem works as a teacher for 2 year-olds.
Following are tweets that she has posted over the years, dating back as far as 2013.

Her employer, once they were made aware of her past, responded quickly. She was promptly fired, and the preschool responded to angry feedback on their Facebook page with the statement "This person is no longer with the company."

We have chosen not to identify the preschool, as they appear to be sincere in their efforts to address this. However, it is concerning that someone with public anti-Semitic activism was not caught earlier by the school. In their defense, however, some of her worst offenses were not recent activities.

Salem issued a statement to the media, apologizing for her tweets and stating they were posted years back, while she was in high school. She says they no longer reflect her views.
