NBC New Year's Eve host mocks WW2 vets

What is it with idiotic New Year's Eve show hosts? It seems they don't even need alcohol to create controversy. Having Kathy Griffin co-host CNN's coverage is reason enough never to channel surf there, but now you can cross NBC's New Year's Eve with Carson Daly off the viewing list next year as well.

On this year's show, Daly had some comedy hack named Natasha Leggero (left) on as a co-host. Her biggest credit to date is a Yahoo web series, which tells you all you need to know about her talent level. In discussing various news stories from 2013, Leggero remarked about the recent controversy in which SpaghettiO's tweeted a picture of their smiling mascot to mark Pearl Harbor Day. It was deemed insensitive, but it was nothing compared to what Leggero said about the controversy: “It sucks that the only survivors of Pearl Harbor are being mocked by the only food they can still chew.” Check out the video for yourself, and make note of actor Anthony Anderson's reaction, who finds it hilarious:

Not surprisingly, Leggero has yet to comment or apologize. Hopefully, she'll return to her place under the rock of obscurity she came from.
