As America Suffers, Nancy Pelosi Brags on TV About Her Freezer Full of Ice Cream (VIDEO)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claims she's struggling during the coronavirus outbreak. However, as millions are out of work and relying on food pantries just to eat, the millionaire Democrat is going on late night TV to show off her stash of sweets that is getting her through this crisis.

During an appearance on CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Speaker Pelosi seemed to forget that this is a real crisis, not a time to sit around her San Francisco mansion eating chocolates. And yet, that's exactly what she claims to be doing.

Using a video call to appear on Corden's show, Pelosi lamented that "I don't know what I would've done if ice cream were not invented." She did so while standing inside a nicely-furnished kitchen, in front of two high-end refrigerators.

Pelosi showed Corden a gift basket filled with expensive chocolates, and then slid open her freezer drawer to show it was stocked with gourmet ice cream and Dove Bars.

Oddly, none of the ice cream packages appear to be open or used, and each was arranged perfectly to be seen on camera. That led some on social media to speculate it was likely a staged bit by the Speaker to get laughs.

Pelosi seems oblivious to the optics involved, as she even had the audacity to post video on her Twitter account later, proclaiming "We all have found our ways to keep our spirits up during these trying times. Mine just happens to fill up my freezer."

Here is her tweet, with the video of her appearance on James Corden's show.

Corden then allowed her to do a bit of self-promotion, as she claimed to be one of the few in Washington who has remained bipartisan and non-political. She stressed that politicians and scientists needed to remain non-partisan through the crisis.

Of course, she failed to mention that she herself delayed passage of the initial economic stimulus bill that provided relief to out-of-work taxpayers and businesses, so she could add non-essential pet projects to it.

Pelosi has also slow-walked work on a new wave of stimulus bills, so she could give Congress the Easter weekend off.

Here is the video, also posted to her Twitter account.

Strangely, the mainstream media has not given Pelosi's late-night appearance any coverage, despite how it made her appear elitist in the midst of America's troubles.

Yet, the media made a firestorm of news that President Trump asked for two scoops of ice cream, while others got one. Watch this report that ran on Erin Burnett's CNN prime-time show in May of 2017.
