Website wants American Muslim leaders to apologize
A new website by a conservative group is demanding accountability and a moral stand from America's Muslim community. On the heels of deadly terrorist attacks on embassies in Libya and Egypt, DemandAnApology.com is seeking signers for an open letter asking American Islamic leaders to condemn the actions.
DemandAnApology.com is the creation of The Conservative Caucus and The Response Action Network, and asks visitors to the site to sign the open letter that states the following:
"In wake of the 9/11/12 attacks of our embassies in Egypt and Libya, we demand that all American Muslim leaders immediately:
• Condemn the deaths of their fellow Americans at the hands of radical Muslims, and apologize to the families of those killed.
• Renounce any effort to impose or enforce extremist Sharia Law within the United States.
• Reject literal interpretations of violent directives in the Quran.
• Pledge to respect the freedom of speech and of all Americans from religious violence."
In a press release, Conservative Caucus chairman Peter Thomas states "Our very way of life is under direct attack by the religious intolerance of a group of people who hate us for our freedom, and we must make a clear and bold statement. These Mosques enjoy the privilege of non-profit tax status, and the constitutionally protected freedom to spread their views within our communities. The least they can do is speak out and condemn these murders of their fellow Americans."
Thomas also outlined their demands in more detail. "We demand that the leaders of every Mosque condemn the deaths of their fellow Americans at the hands of radical Muslims, and apologize directly to the families of those killed. We demand that these leaders openly reject any and all efforts to spread or enforce extremist Sharia Law within the United States," he said.
"We demand they reject violent directives within the Quran, including Chapter 8, Verse 39, 'Fight them until there is no more Fitnah (worshiping others besides Allah) and the religion will all be for Allah alone.' We demand that Islamic leaders around the world pledge to respect our Christian culture, the freedom of speech, and the independence of our nation from Sharia Law and religious violence."
The President's misplaced priorities
He may not have time time to sit in on national security briefings, or meet with his Jobs Council, or have a sit-down with our only ally in the Middle East, but President Obama finds the time to fly Air Force One to New York and sit on David Letterman's couch. This is Forward?

Obama campaign: Paul Ryan lies, so send us some money
Liberals. They do love the drama, and nothing says drama like a good villain. Since they can't find any decent villains, Paul Ryan will have to do. In an email from Obama for America's Jim Messina, Democrats call Ryan a liar for his RNC speech, but that's only if you ignore things like the truth.
Of course, the whole thing is just a ruse to ask for more money. I guess the low Hollywood summer box office is affecting donations from the left coast. Whatever the reason, you can check out my new Examiner.com article by clicking below and finding out just how dubious the Democrats' claims of lies really are.

Media ignores Ted Cruz's RNC speech
Ted Cruz,
the Republican Senatorial candidate from Texas, is among a new
generation of Hispanic leaders in the GOP, but you would not know it
from watching media coverage of the Republican National Convention.
On Tuesday night, Cruz took the podium at the RNC in Tampa immediately after former Sen. Rick Santorum spoke, but rather than give him air time, media news outlets including MSNBC and CNN did not show the speech. PBS and C-SPAN were the only major national news broadcasters to show his entire speech, which was met with loud applause and cheers from convention delegates.
Cruz said America is witnessing a "great awakening...a national movement of 'we the people,' brought together by what unites us, a shared love of liberty."
Cruz also spoke of his background, including the history of his mother, and the struggles of his father, who was imprisoned and tortured in Cuba before he could escape to Texas with $100 sewn into his underwear. He also blasted the Obama administration for their handling of the economy the last four years. "Government is not the answer. You are not doing anyone a favor by creating dependency, destroying individual responsibility," he said.
MSNBC's coverage of the Republican National Convention has been especially critical, blasting the GOP on issues like abortion, health care, and immigration. As Red Alert Politics pointed out, however, MSNBC chose to ignore all minorities the GOP featured Tuesday night in their television coverage.
Not only did MSNBC refuse to show a moment of the Ted Cruz speech, but they also chose not to show speeches by former Democratic Rep. Arthur Davis (who is African American), Puerto Rican First Lady Vela Fortuno, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, and Utah Congressional candidate Mia Love (who is African American). Instead, they featured the commentary of Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow.

Buck Rogers comes to Chick-fil-A's defense
It should come as no surprise that a number of Hollywood actors have
been critical of Chick-fil-A after the recent controversy in which the
president of the company stated that he supported traditional marriage.
Those who supported Chick-fil-A and freedom of speech have a new
champion: actor Gil Gerard, who became an American pop culture icon by
playing Buck Rogers on TV in the 1970s and 1980s on the classic show "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century."
Gerard, the 69 year old actor who played the quintessential hero on the NBC show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, has never shied away from speaking his mind to his 5,000 followers via his Facebook page. On Easter Sunday 2012, he made clear his Christian faith by celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and acknowledged his Jewish friends and fans celebrating Passover.
When the recent Chick-fil-A controversy began to stir, Gerard entered the fray by posting a image on his Facebook page supportive of the restaurant chain. He even joined a Facebook group supporting Chick-fil-A and freedom of speech.
While the majority of his followers seemed supportive, some took offense. One decided to address Gerard directly, causing the actor to post the following message on his page:
Gerard's statement caused even more furor for some, insistent that a stand for Chick-fil-A was anti-gay. They pointed to information provided by the left-leaning website Equality Matters and the Southern Poverty Law Center, but an examination of the information provided does little to prove the restaurant chain as anti-gay. They site the rather benign and well-respected organizations Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Focus on the Family as anti-gay, only on the basis that their Christian beliefs state homosexuality is a sin.
Gerard later said that if he ever saw proof that Chick-fil-A supported bigotry of homosexuals, he would withdraw his support.
Many of Gil's fans took note that he was attempting to have a civil yet fair debate about the issue. Alan Slonaker posted on Gerard's Facebook page "Gil, I'm starting to believe that your page may be one of the last bastions of civil discourse on the internet. It's nice to see and greatly appreciated."

"I received a personal message from an anonymous (of course) person who accused me of supporting bigotry because, I assume, I had shared the photo of the poster relating to the whole Chick-fil-A thing.
"As far as I can ascertain the owner of Chick-fil-A made no derogatory statement regarding homosexuals or homosexuality itself, nor did he propose taking any actions against homosexuals, as in firing any who work for him or denying service to any who came to his stores.
"What I did find was that a man expressed an opinion regarding gay marriage, which he is entitled to do under the rights guaranteed him by our Constitution, and he was promptly attacked as being anti-gay. Don't see it, haven't seen it, hope not to see it 'cause I can't support bigotry.
"I would think that the gay community should look to themselves and think about the bigotry implied in their stance, after all, the man only expressed an opinion, simply engaged in civil discourse, didn't call any names, or recommend that action be taken against anyone."

Rick Santorum scares the heck out of the True Blood creator
There's nothing quite like liberal panic. It's actually quite entertaining, with a pinch of pathetic mixed in. When Rick Santorum made his run for the Presidency, the left attacked him relentlessly, deathly afraid the strong conservative might actually end up running the country.
Santorum still scares the heebie-jeebies out of some, even though he is out of the political limelight somewhat. Alan Ball, the guy who created the HBO vampire series True Blood, is so scared of Santorum that he used him as the basis for a villain on the show. Seriously. Even while running a website called "When Liberals Attack," we are often taken aback by the audacity of some who brazenly attempt to undermine the our country's principles and its symbols.

Gay superhero to be revealed, and it isn't Thor
In case you didn't hear, DC Comics has announced that they are going to "out" one of their superheroes as gay in the near future. Thank goodness, because frankly, comics aren't gay enough.
DC Comics is acting like the kid in school who was always begging for attention. Of course, the media will do their part to "celebrate" gay rights by playing this up. My bet is the gay superhero will be some lesser known character who needs to sell comics. That's their real motivation. It isn't about making a statement about gay rights; it's all about money.
DC Comics will likely get a lot of new interest from people who never read comics, as well as score brownie points with the liberal left. Gay rights advocates will applaud it, but they fail to realize that they are merely being used.
DC is only being gay friendly because it will benefit the bottom line. If they thought it would benefit them, they would throw the gay community under the bus. It is sad that gay rights advocates can't see this, or perhaps they do, and they look the other way because it benefits their cause. It would not be the first time a liberal looked the other way because it meant a short term gain.
If they wanted to do something edgy and brave, have a superhero come out as a Republican or a Christian. People would have kittens, which is great, because the world needs more kittens.

Democrat can't spell Obama's name
Sometimes liberals make it too easy. Meet Domingo Garcia, a criminal defense attorney running for Congress in Texas' District 33. Liberals attack Chuck's Zachary Levi
Tell me if you have heard this before: liberals who claim to be tolerant and open-minded attack those with Christian beliefs. In the most recent instance, the target was Zachary Levi, the star of the NBC show Chuck. The ideological war is being waged, of all places, on Twitter.
Levi came under attack on April 29, 2012, when he
responded to a fan's observation that, even as a Christian, he cursed
quite a bit. Levi is an active Twitter user, but rarely talks about his
faith. He described his spiritual outlook in a tweet by quoting St.
Francis of Assisi: "Preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary,
use words." He also tweeted "truth always points to Christ. You don't
have to be an evangelist to preach. Just honest. That's what I strive to
be."
This revelation, of sorts, caused an uproar among some of his liberal Twitter followers, who took offense that one of their Hollywood darlings would dare to believe in Jesus. One follower, whose Twitter account identified him as an "atheist, skeptic, and liberal free thinker," got his hemp undershorts in a bunch over it, causing him to send the following tweet: "@ZacharyLevi unfollowed. Expected better from you." Several others also followed suit.
Never mind the irony that a man who calls himself a
"free thinker" would gather up his toys and leave the philosophical
sandbox when someone else speaks their mind. This individual employed
the usual liberal tactic of marginalization and intimidation, rather
than show some mutual respect for another's beliefs. Once again, the
left attempted to quash expressions of faith in the public arena.
Levi, for his part, took the intolerance in stride.
He responded to the liberal bigot who said he "expected better" by
tweeting back "So did my high school guidance counselor. Welcome to the
club." Ultimately, however, it was Levi who had the last laugh. Hundreds
of Twitter users came to his defense, and his former Chuck co-star, Adam Baldwin, took up his cause.
Baldwin, himself a Christian and an outspoken conservative, tweeted about the online diss and intolerance Levi was receiving. He retweeted the original liberal protestor's tweet with the words "Anti-Christian bigotry!" and sent it to his nearly 100,000 followers.
Baldwin also tweeted words of support to Levi
directly, quoting II Corinthians 5:7: "For we walk by faith, not by
sight." As a result of the Baldwin tweets, Levi ended up with hundreds
more followers than he lost.
Even though Chuck is now off the air, the situation proved that Zachary Levi still has a large "Nerd Herd" looking out for him and his faith.

On the Komen/Planned Parenthood debacle...
After days of over-hyped criticism of the Komen Foundation, I'm anxious to see how the media will portray them now. I'm sure it will be praised as a brave decision that will save the lives of women (unless you are still in the womb, of course). Now, if only we can get Planned Parenthood to actually use the money for breast cancer screenings instead of throwing it into their general fund (which is what started this).

Excuse me, ABC, but your bias is showing
Robot Obama footage from 1991!
Well, this is disturbing. This YouTube video lends proof to the theory that Obama is a robot from the future on a mission to destroy America. Maybe North Korea perfected time travel or something.
Anyway, it is hard to believe that a little work on his delivery can take the guy (or robot) you see here and put him in the Oval Office. Or maybe he just activated his emotion chip.
Anyway, why are we only seeing this NOW, from a third party? Did TBS and its owner, mega-liberal Ted Turner, forget Obama did this? Not likely.
This week in irony
Today's protest outside the White House saw thousands upset over the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline project, which would send oil derived from tar sands in Canada to Texas and Louisiana to be refined. The pipeline would create thousands of new American jobs and would cut the amount of oil we buy from the Arab world.
Of course, that does not sit well with radical environmentalists and amateur anarchists. A group of angry college students left their college in Vermont and traveled by oil-guzzling bus to Washington to voice their displeasure. They then burned even more oil to go home. It's OK though, because oil burned during good intentions doesn't hurt the environment.

The Anarchists of the Occupy Movement

Another facepalm moment for Obama
Ladies and gentlemen, this is our commander-in-chief, head of our armed forces, and leader of the free world, acting like a beauty pageant contestant at the UN. During a photo op on September 20, 2011, President Obama decided to wave at everyone, obscuring the face of Mongolia's leader and making a face Rush Limbaugh described as something akin to Alfred E. Newman from Mad Magazine. Why is this man so starved for attention?
Obama runs and hides from 14 million unemployed Americans
A new jobs report released today showed America created no new jobs last month. Every time a report is released, no matter how bad it is, President Obama will appear to make a statement and spin it to a positive thing. This one was so bad, that when it was released, Obama skipped a statement for the first time and took off for Camp David. It must be nice to be able to run away from your mistakes.

Ah, Hollywood liberals, what a hypocritical lot. The same folks who scream for equal rights for women then turn around and make sexist attacks on Republican women they don't like. Now, they are trying to convince us that drivel like NBC's new show "The Playboy Club" actually EMPOWERS women. As proof, they offer this clip featuring actress and professed lesbian Amber Heard cowering in fear while wearing a revealing outfit. You've come a long way, baby.

The Top Five Myths Bankruptcy - Myth #1
As consumer debt has skyrocketed to over $3 Trillion, many believe the only way out from under the mountain of bills is to declare bankruptcy. But is it right for you? Many myths persist to misinform the public.
“Probably the worst myth about bankruptcy is that you need to be flat broke before you should file,” says Sacramento bankruptcy attorney Gerald B. Glazer. “It is not good to wait until creditors are knocking on your door,” according to Glazer. Planning can prepare you for a bankruptcy that causes the least amount of financial disruption.

Glazer. “It is not good to wait until creditors are knocking on your door,” according to Glazer. Planning can prepare you for a bankruptcy that causes the least amount of financial disruption.

Obama Throws a Hissy Fit
Is it too much to ask that our President act like an adult with the economic future of our country on the line? Apparently so, because he is behaving like a spoiled brat when the GOP takes him to task over the debt ceiling. To read all about it on Examiner.com, click right here.

The (Symbolic) Tree Huggers of Auburn
Remember when some idiot poisoned a lot of the trees at Toomer's Corner at Auburn University? Well, some student environmentalist figured out the best way to help the trees...was to symbolically hug them. Seriously. Instead of devoting time to scientific study and experiments that might help the trees (You know where they do that? At a university!), these folks showed up to a "Toomer's Tree Hug" rally in February and hugged the air in hopes that it would "push" the poison out of the trees. The tree huggers asked that students not actually "hug" the trees, because they might hurt them. You can see the symbolic hug in the picture here.
Look, sentiment is nice, but reality is nicer. Why not raise money for the trees' care? Because in this day and age, as long as you mean well, you don't actually have to DO well. It's like wearing a colored ribbon to support a cause. It doesn't do any good, but it is easier than working for that cause and it makes you feel better.
Ironically, these same Auburn students have a tradition of "rolling" these trees to celebrate something at the university, like a win in football. These trees would be covered in hundreds, if not thousands, of toilet paper rolls, so much so that the trees look iced over and the ground is covered in piles of unrolled toilet paper. The tree huggers have asked students to stop rolling, as it might hurt the trees. Never mind the fact that with every roll, a tree somewhere else had to die.
But hey, as long as everyone feels good, it's OK, right? Maybe they should be given a Nobel Peace Prize for all of their symbolic work.

That would explain Glee.....
A new study reveals that only 1.7% of the U.S. adult population is gay. Incredibly, they have all appeared on at least one television show.
Lady Gaga Joins the Gay Mafia
Never heard of the Gay Mafia? Think they are made up? That's what they want you to think! Worse, they have recruited Lady Gaga as one of their enforcers! Actually, that probably isn't a surprise, but you can find out how Gaga tried to strong arm Target stores into thinking like her. You can read about how she showed them her intolerant face by clicking right here to read my column at Examiner.com.
Liberal Fail of the Week: Singing Wisconsin Protesters
When liberals think they are making a difference, it can be a bit sad, but mostly it's just funny. Case in point: during the recent Wisconsin union protests, this bizarre moment was caught on video and posted to YouTube. Either the cast of Les Miserables showed up to perform, or some time-traveling French anarchists from the Revolution found their way into the Madison Capitol. I just love how the guy in front thinks if he sings louder and with a little more gusto, all of their problems will just go away. I don't know what sort of romantic ideas he had that his little American Idol audition would actually change minds, but at least it makes you laugh. Check out the hippie drum circle member trying to play along, or better yet, check out the faces of the protesters in the background, all wondering where these singing idiots came from. Why they chose to sing songs from Les Miserables is beyond me. Don't these folks know any good Bob Dylan?
Remember now, unlike people protesting for their freedom, these folks are protesting the fact they they do not want to pay 5% into their own pensions! They want you, the taxpayer, to pay it for them. They might as well be singing into hairbrushes in front of their bedroom mirror, because their musical hissy-fit was all for naught. Didn't Obama say we all had to do our part to help the economic recovery? Now they get their chance!
One of these butts is not like the others
Pop quiz, hotshots: These are three first ladies of different countries. From left to right, they are Princess Letizia of Spain, French first lady Carla Bruni, and USA First Lady Michelle Obama (you can click on the pic to see a, ahem, larger version). Now, out of the three, which do you suppose has led the charge to regulate how we eat and dictate our lifestyles, to the point that San Francisco has outlawed Happy Meals?
Now, I can appreciate Mrs. Obama trying to help America eat healthier, but let me ask you this: if a Republican with some "junk in the trunk," were saying the same things about eating healthy, would the media let it slide? This is the same media that joined with Kathy Griffin to mock Bristol Palin when she didn't lose weight while on Dancing with the Stars. They love a good hypocrite, but give Michelle Obama a pass. And so it goes.

John King's FAIL
John King and CNN did try hard to blame everyone but the shooter for the Giffords shooting. He put forth the effort, but like the rest of the mainstream media, no one bought the argument. Maybe we're all just a little sick of the liberal ploy of blaming others and failing to take responsibility for one's own actions. My article for Examiner.com certainly got a lot of feedback pro and con. To read it for yourself, click right here.
For Christmas, Paris Hilton celebrates herself
You know, I'd laugh harder at Paris Hilton if she weren't so pathetic. And yet, I still laugh quite a bit.
My latest column highlights her Christmas card, which features the real reason for the season: looking at her bony body in skimpy outfits. To see the Christmas card that may finally get her skanky soul condemned to hell, click right here to read it at Examiner.com. You can also click right here to read the same column at Yahoo.

Surprise! Liberals like bad TV
A new study says that Democrats like TV shows with sick, twisted characters, like Dexter the serial killer and, of course, Keith Olbermann.
The study also says Republicans prefer shows where good fights evil, like "V" and "NCIS." It's probably not a coincidence that TV shows favored by Republicans tend to be more successful, and get higher ratings. To read my full article on the subject, click here to read it at Yahoo's Associated Content.
